Terms & Conditions
To avoid misunderstandings or any issues that may cause disputes in the future, Connectindo establishes an agreement with the customers beforehand. This agreement is made and agreed upon by Connectindo and the Customers using the Internet services provided by Connectindo. Both parties agree to approve and follow the rules and conditions below:
1. Services
Connectindo provides web hosting services and related services connected to the Internet. Connectindo offers technical support for the services provided during working hours and days. Our services can be obtained through email, phone, or customer visits. Customers use the hardware and software on the server provided by Connectindo to be accessible from the Internet by selecting the type of service and features offered by Connectindo on a rental system, after registering and confirming payment through the e-form provided by Connectindo, and then receiving confirmation from Connectindo. Connectindo guarantees that each of our customers receives general facilities as follows: a control panel to manage your account, including file manager, email manager, subdomain manager, WebMail installation, and more.
2. Server Usage
When using the server, Connectindo prohibits its customers from:
Using shared bandwidth speed network services as VPN/Tunnel/Proxy server traffic and the like for public use, except for personal or office use. If used for public purposes, dedicated bandwidth speed network services must be used as provided.
Attempting to damage/change the data and configuration of Connectindo’s server that does not belong to the customer.
Running continuous connection BOT emulation will be terminated.
Using Connectindo’s server to attempt to access/damage/change the data and system configuration of another party’s server.
Displaying pornographic content on the customer’s website.
Sending spam emails in large or small quantities, whether in the form of news, product offers, promotions, etc., that are unsolicited and undesired by other parties.
Running background processes (programs that continuously run on the server) and server daemons such as IRC bots, rc5des, Java Chat Server, etc.
Running programs excessively (using a lot of memory, CPU, network, and others) that may disrupt the stability of Connectindo’s server.
Other materials that violate local laws and copyright laws. This includes, but is not limited to, MP3 files that infringe copyright, copies of other sites without permission, etc.
Connectindo reserves the right to warn or terminate the email sending programs of Customers that disrupt server activities or other Customers.
3. Understanding “Unlimited”
The Unlimited web hosting package service is not intended for large-scale email use, Connectindo reserves the right to deactivate accounts using more than 10 GB of disk space for email until the web hosting account is upgraded by the customer to a VPS service where such limitations do not apply. Connectindo also has a fair use policy related to file inodes on all shared hosting services, with a maximum of 250,000 files.
4. Information
Connectindo is not responsible for the content of the Customer’s website. The Customer is fully responsible for the content of their own website. Connectindo does not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the content of the Customer’s website. Connectindo is not responsible for the consequences caused by the content of the Customer’s website. Incidents such as data deletion, cracking, or defacement caused by the negligence or carelessness of the Customer or due to programs or scripts installed on the Customer’s website are not the responsibility of Connectindo. Periodically, Connectindo issues warnings and recommendations for security maintenance for Customers, but Connectindo is not responsible for what happens on the Customer’s website.
5. Support Services
Connectindo is obliged to provide support services to Customers related to the accounts owned by the Customers, such as password changes, file attribute changes, email creation, and server configuration owned by the Customer. Connectindo does not provide services for creating and debugging Customer’s CGI/PHP scripts/programs. Support services are provided by Connectindo during working hours and days via phone and 24 hours via email.
6. Notifications
Connectindo guarantees to provide advance notification (24-48 hours in advance) via email for events such as server restarts, server relocations to other data centers, DNS changes, IP changes, and other important events.
7. Domain Names
Connectindo has the right to register domains on behalf of the Customer upon the Customer’s request. All administrative and payment processes related to the domain name must be handled by the Customer, unless Connectindo agrees to assist with the payment.
The domain name registered fully belongs to the Customer, and Connectindo is not responsible for any consequences arising from the registered domain, as Connectindo is merely an intermediary for registration. Connectindo is not responsible for the existence of the Customer’s domain if at any time the Customer’s domain cannot function due to any errors and negligence by the Customer, hacker interference, or issues at our main registrar in the USA or global internet revolutions, as all these matters are beyond our control. There will be no claims against us, and all costs incurred regarding the domain are fully borne by the Customer.
8. Compensation Policy
You agree to use Connectindo’s services and facilities with all possible risks involved being your responsibility. Connectindo will not be liable for any damages, data loss, including damages arising from the use of Connectindo’s facilities. Connectindo is exempt from third-party claims for damages arising from third parties.
9. Backup
You are fully responsible for backing up each web data, and backups are solely for Connectindo’s internal purposes. Dedicated Server customers are required to back up their own data as we do not perform backups on your server. It is also recommended to use RAID mirror hard drives for data security. Connectindo is exempt from compensation claims for data loss or damage.
10. Payment
Customers are required to pay for the services provided by Connectindo using the payment methods and fees set by Connectindo no later than the due date. In case of delayed payment beyond the due date, Connectindo has the right to deactivate the Customer’s service without further notice. If the payment delay exceeds three (3) days, Connectindo has the right to delete all customer data from the server without further notice. Fees paid to Connectindo are non-refundable for any reason if the Customer decides to cancel the contract.
11. Privacy
Connectindo protects the personal data of Customers (such as source code from scripts that do not want to be shared with others, databases, or data in the Customer’s home directory that do not want to be accessible to other users) so that it cannot be easily obtained, unless the Customer sets their account to allow such access. Connectindo does not access the Customer’s directory content unless requested by the Customer and will not provide it to other parties, except as required by law.
12. Cancellation
Customers can cancel the service contract at any time within 30 days since the service becomes active. Connectindo has the right to unilaterally cancel the contract if the Customer does not comply with the terms set forth in this agreement. If the Customer terminates this agreement unilaterally, the Customer is not entitled to a refund.
13. Refund
Refund requests must be sent via email to billing@connectindo.com along with reasons related to the SLA, including detailed information and problems experienced. The refund process will be carried out within a maximum of 10 working days after we receive and approve the refund request.
14. Agreement Changes
Connectindo has the right to make changes to the contents of this agreement at any time if deemed necessary without prior notice to the Customer.
15. Understanding
This agreement is written using terms commonly used in the field of Internet and Computer Communications and is fully understood by Connectindo and the Customer.
Connectindo creates this agreement for mutual benefit, to protect Connectindo and the Customer from undesirable things and to ensure that the Customer receives optimal and best services.
If the Customer violates the contents of this agreement, Connectindo has the right to warn via email or phone for violations that can still be given a tolerance period for correction. If after being warned the violation still occurs or if the violation impacts the overall server or network services, Connectindo has the right to terminate or delete the Customer’s account service without prior notice, and the Customer is not entitled to a refund. In case of serious violations, Connectindo also has the right to impose fines on the Customer that must be fully paid by the Customer.
